“We recently moved in to an older properly, built in 1886 and as it stands currently the layout doesn’t really work well for family living. We approached B W Macintyre Architects as we wanted to add something to our property and seek the expertise to help it function better. We wanted something modern that would compliment the existing style of building. Blair travelled a long distance to us to have an initial conversation, where he spent time getting to know us, our requirements and how we wished to live in the house. He was patient and listened to our requests, giving us his initial thoughts and indications on what was/wasn’t possible. After this he was able to produce 3 options for us to look at and again, travelled a distance to be able to present these to us in person and talk us through how they would work for us. This was invaluable as we were able to clearly see the thought process he went through via the drawings but in addition a conversation was able to be had regarding any queries we had. Even though he presented 3 options, he was willing to revise these to a solution that worked the best for us. We have been really pleased with the process so far and look forward to seeing the plans turn in to reality one day in the near future.”
