Woodburn Avenue

This carefully considered renovation and extension reimagines a distinguished 1928 West End home originally designed by renowned Aberdeen architect Clement George. Respecting the property’s Art Deco heritage and original granite detailing, the project replaces an outdated conservatory with a contemporary kitchen, dining and living extension while transforming the existing garage into a practical new entrance and utility space.
Using reclaimed granite, copper detailing and refined crittall-style glazing, the design balances historic character with modern family living — creating a warm, functional home that celebrates Aberdeen’s architectural heritage.
